First blog post.
The idea for this blog sprung from an interest in blogging I developed while working on the Mobilizer Blog for the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Chicago this summer. I found that posting on a blog is a fantastic way to vent frustration, happiness, or any other emotion I experience when I read or hear something that sparks my interest. I encourage everyone to try it at least once.
Very broadly, the purview of this blog will be politics and international affairs. But I am confident that I will not limit myself to commenting on goings-on within the Beltway.
